The amino acid L-5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) is created from L-Tryptophan in the body, and is a precursor to serotonin and melatonin. Our 5-HTP is derived from a plant source, and is carefully tested to ensure its purity and to guarantee the absence of contaminants.
  • L-5-Hydroxytryptophan: 100 mg

Other ingredients: Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, microcrystalline cellulose, L-leucine.

As a dietary supplement, 1 capsule one to three times daily, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.

Not indicated for pregnant or nursing women. Concurrent use with SSRI medications or MAO inhibitors should only be done under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
