How Vitamin C Works
Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant. What are antioxidants? During periods of illness our cells break down and create free radicals. Think pinballs. These free radicals ping around randomly and damage surrounding cells and tissues. Our bodies make antioxidants which are like PacMan’s that gobble up the free radicals. As we age, we make less antioxidants. During periods of illness, the body produces more and more free radicals which increase inflammation and makes us feel bad. Vitamin C helps counteract this process. This formulation is in a fat solution (liposomal) to enhance absorption.
